The switch's small-form factor, only 8.6-inches wide, means you can put it in locations where larger switches won't fit. In SMB networks, use it as a high-speed core switch. In mid-size networks, use it as an aggregation switch between the core an the network edge. In enterprise networks, use it as an edge switch. In any of these applications, you'll get true 10-GbE performance that reduces end-user application latency issues. Better yet, the switch auto-negotiates speeds so it's backwards compatible with an existing Gigabit network.

The switch easily handles uncompressed ultra HD video as well as KVM switching and extension over IP. Use it to transmit video in control rooms, conference rooms, lobbies, etc.
Go the distance.
The switch transmit data up to 100 meters over CAT6A cable. If you use CAT6 cable, you'll get distances of 45 meters. CAT5e cable can be used for Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters.
You'll get multiple security features. IP Source Guard prevents illegal IP addresses from accessing a specific port. ACLs support up to 256 entries. Storm control prevents traffic on the network from being disrupted by a broadcast, multicast, or unicast storm on a port.
Web smart management
The switch delivers advanced functionality inlcuding STP/RSTP/MSTP, IGMP Snooping, QoS, and more. The integral Web server enables Web-based management via Web browser. This GUI interface enables switch configuration, system dashboard, maintenance, and monitoring.
The wide range of management and support features also includes port mirroring, LLDP, sFlow®, UPnP®, IPv6, DHCP Client, SNTP, ping, and syslog.
Support for VLAN and QoS
Support for up to four thousand simultaneous VLANs enables you to segment traffic with port-based, 802.1Q tag-based, or MAC-based VLANs. VoIP traffic is automatically assigned to a voice-specific VLAN to maintain quality. 802.1p Layer 2 quality of service (QoS) enables prioritization of time-sensitive applications such as VoIP and video.
The PoE+ Gigabit Managed Switch Eco features IEEE 802.3az energy-efficient Ethernet, which scales down power consumption during periods of low data activity. This feature adds up to energy savings of up to 50%.
Cable length detection adjusts signal strength to the cable length, reducing power consumption on shorter cable runs.
